Dr. Garrett Rushing MD Layton Pediatrician

About Garrett:

Garrett relocated to Utah with the Air Force in 2022 and has embraced the beauty of Utah, where he enjoys camping, backpacking, and watching vibrant sunsets over the mountains. Previously a flight doctor in the Air Force, Garrett has been to Mexico, Honduras, Germany, France, Switzerland, and Japan. He brings a unique perspective and a broad range of medical experience from his time in the military.

Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, playing basketball, practicing guitar, and baking cookies. He believes in balancing hard work with humor and connection and can’t resist a good dad joke. If you ask him about his impressive juggling skills, you might just get a spontaneous performance!

As a pediatric healthcare provider, Garrett values the opportunity to help kids, answer parents’ questions, discuss concerns, and build lasting relationships. While he loves seeing kids and teens of all ages, he especially appreciates the formative years, from birth to seven, when kids are at their most curious and sometimes mischievous stages.
