Rod Maxwell

About Rod:

Rod grew up in Sandy, UT and was the oldest of six children. He attended the University of Utah on scholarship before serving an LDS mission to Spain. After returning home he married his beautiful wife Sheri, and they raised 5 children together. Rod received his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. He has been working as a Board-Certified Pediatric Physician Assistant for sixteen years.

Rod is fluent in Spanish and loves working in pediatrics and helping parents navigate the joys and challenges of raising children. Rod currently has six grandchildren, hopefully with more on the way. He loves spending time with his family outdoors; camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, and boating.

Parent Feedback

I have been taking my kids to Wee Care Pediatrics for many years now. Rod Maxwell is a great PA and I feel like he truly cares about my kids. He always takes the time to listen to my concerns. I have also had great experiences with other providers as well. The staff is so friendly and helpful. Thanks Wee Care Pediatrics!
