Rod Maxwell

About Rod:

Rod grew up in Sandy, UT and was the oldest of six children. He attended the University of Utah on scholarship before serving an LDS mission to Spain. After returning home he married his beautiful wife Sheri, and they raised 5 children together. Rod received his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. He has been working as a Board-Certified Pediatric Physician Assistant for sixteen years.

Rod is fluent in Spanish and loves working in pediatrics and helping parents navigate the joys and challenges of raising children. Rod currently has six grandchildren, hopefully with more on the way. He loves spending time with his family outdoors; camping, hunting, fishing, skiing, and boating.

Parent Feedback

I love the pediatricians at Wee Care. As first time parents, we are constantly convinced something is wrong. The doctors do an amazing job at putting your mind at ease and treating you with compassion. All of the staff is amazing at all of their locations. And it’s even better for first time parents because they are open 7 days a week!
