Dr. Roderick Griffeth, DDS

Roderick brings a calm, confident approach to pediatric oral surgery, with a focus on helping teens feel at ease every step of the way. He grew up in Idaho and recently moved from Montana to Utah. The beauty of Bear Lake, family time, and endless opportunities for outdoor adventure are what drew Roderick to the state.

Roderick specializes in wisdom teeth removal and IV sedation and primarily works with teens ages 15-18. He’s known for turning what can feel like a nerve-wracking experience into something far more comfortable than patients expect. In fact, one of the most fulfilling parts of his job is helping nervous patients relax and walk away thinking, “That wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought.” Having done nearly 50,000 wisdom teeth removal procedures over the course of his career, he brings both expertise and reassurance to every patient he treats.

Outside work, you’ll find Roderick making the most of the outdoors, whether it’s camping, hiking, dirt biking, water skiing, wake surfing, or hunting. He’s a fan of a good steak and a loyal Steelers fan. When it’s time to relax, he admits he can’t make it through a movie without falling asleep.

Roderick’s main goal is to provide exceptional care to every patient. He works to ensure every patient feels comfortable and treats them all as if they were part of his own family.
