Michael Burton was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. After obtaining a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Human Development at the University of Utah, he continued his education at Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. Mike completed his pediatric training in Omaha, Nebraska, before returning home to Utah to join Wee Care.
Mike met his wife when they played soccer together at age 5. They quickly became lifelong friends and eventually were married. Now they have three beautiful children. Mike loves spending time with his family. Together they enjoy going for walks, watching movies, watching football (Go Utes!), and reading (especially Harry Potter). Mike also enjoys the outdoors, especially fly fishing in the nearby canyons.
Mike learned Portuguese while serving a mission in Brazil, but has since learned Spanish and enjoys seeing Spanish speaking patients.
