Josh McBride, MD

Born and raised in Syracuse, Utah, Josh loves being in his home state, where he can be close to extended family, enjoy the mountains and desert, attend events downtown, and serve people in his local community.

A music lover at heart, Josh collects vinyl records and attends concerts—enjoying every genre, from the Utah Symphony to a favorite rock band. He’s been taking piano lessons for nearly two years with the goal of playing “Clair de Lune” for his wife, jamming with his dad and brothers (who play guitars and drums), and performing hymns at church. When he’s not at work, Josh also enjoys working on and riding off-road motorcycles, hiking, camping, and spending quality time with his family.

As a father of four, Josh says parenthood has deepened his empathy for kids and parents and helped him appreciate families’ challenges. With over nine years of experience in both pediatric outpatient and in-patient settings, Dr. McBride enjoys everything from the growing newborn stages to navigating important teenage years. He appreciates the joy and resilience kids have, even in the face of health challenges. His goal as a pediatrician is simple: to be knowledgeable, approachable, and supportive of the families he serves so he can get kids back to enjoying being a kid as soon as possible.
