Chris Neeley

About Chris:

Dr. Chris was born and raised right here in Utah. He grew up playing in the mountains no matter what the season.  Whether it’s golfing, hunting, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking, dirt biking, running, or hiking, as long as he is outdoors, he is happy.  Dr. Chris knew early on that dentistry would be a good career path for him.  Dentistry allows him to provide a service and to help others while being creative and working with his hands.

Dr. Chris graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Medical Biology.  He pursued his 4 years of doctorate training at the Ohio State University.  After his dental school training, he returned to Utah and practiced general dentistry for 6 years.  It was during this time in private practice that he found the joy of working with kids and realized that being a pediatric dental specialist was a goal he wanted to pursue. Dr. Chris, with his wife and four kids, moved to the East Coast for 2 years to pursue his specialty pediatric dental training.  Dr. Chris completed his pediatric residency training at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut.  He is a board-certified specialist in pediatric dentistry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Chris’ favorite part about being a pediatric dentist is obviously the kids. He enjoys watching the kids build confidence at the dentist and treasures the relationships that he builds with the children.

“Kids are the spice of life.  There is never a dull day when working with children.  The ingredients to providing a positive experience and superior dental care to children starts with a positive attitude, a personal, sensitive, and understanding approach, sprinkled with a little crazy.”  Dr. Chris

Parent Feedback

Dr. Ragsdale is AMAZING. We are a military family and have moved quite a bit. So we have had several pediatricians and he is by far the most attentive, caring, thorough doctor we’ve had. He never makes me feel rushed, makes sure all of my questions are answered and works to make sure our kids feel as comfortable as possible. The Layton office in general has provided a wonderful experience, we have seen several other providers there for last minute sick visits when Dr. Ragsdale was not available and they were all great as well. We were always able to get in same day for sick visits so I’ve never had to take my children to a random urgent care in the two years we’ve lived here. We are preparing to move and are SO sad to not be able to go to this office anymore. Thank you Dr. Ragsdale and the Wee Care Layton team for taking such good care of our family!
