Syracuse & Layton Pediatric Dentist

Matt Palmer, DDS

Matt Palmer, DDS

About Matt:

Matt grew up in nearby Cottonwood Heights and has no plans to leave the area anytime soon. Always a quick jaunt from the mountains, family, or the nearest Café Rio means Matt has everything he needs close at hand.

Matt knows going to the dentist isn’t most people’s idea of a good time and he’s working hard to change that. His office is filled with learning, laughs, and the occasional (or maybe not so occasional) balloon animal. He believes dental care can be fun and that even when it isn’t, your kiddos are capable of accomplishing difficult tasks, with a little support. If things get tense for a minute, Matt always has a joke handy. He gets to hang out with all of the best budding standup comics (kids) all day and learn all their best jokes. He also has four kids at home, and he treats all of his patients as if they were his own children.

When he’s not adding to his joke arsenal, making balloon animals, and taking care of little chompers, Matt likes playing the guitar and piano, singing, and recording music. He hopes to one day learn to golf, train for a triathlon, and maybe even start a rock band.

Parent Feedback

I'm so happy we found Wee care when my 1st was born 13 years ago. Our doctor and MA really know my kids. Every interaction with the staff has been good. I really appreciate that the Layton office is also an after hours peds urgent care with weekend and late hours. My kids always get sick on Saturday night or Sunday when the regular urgent care is closed. It's very helpful that our pediatrician and the urgent care providers can see all the same history so they have a complete picture of my child's health or illness. It was such a relief to get care at 9pm when my 5 day old baby developed severe jaundice. And when my 5yr old slammed her baby brother's fingers in a door at bedtime. My kids are now using the counseling services Wee care offers. Finding mental health care that is covered by insurance and has openings can be such a barrier to overcome. Having a therapist in the practice has made getting my kids the support they need easy to navigate. I recommend Wee care to every family I know. And now my grandbabies see a Wee care pediatrician, too.
