Before he was Dr. Chuck, he was just Chuck, and he lived in Orange County, California. Proximity to the ocean practically guarantees either an enduring love for, or overwhelming phobia of water. For Dr. Chuck, it’s all about love. He grew up playing water polo and surfing in the Pacific, but traded it all in for the towering mountains and deep snows of Utah.
Chuck earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah before answering the siren call of the sea and back to California. There, he attended dental school at the University of Southern California. Chuck then earned his Pediatric Specialty degree at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), the nation’s leading children’s hospital. Having reached the peak of the mountain, Chuck asked if there was a higher one, and became Chief Resident.
He brought those talents with him when he came back to Utah, and he uses them every day in his practice. Dr. Chuck also goes by “dad” to his son and three daughters. When he’s not parenting or doctoring, he likes to ride his mountain bike at night, with nothing more than a couple of headlamps and a wary eye. If he can stand up to a mountain lion with nothing but some elbow pads, we’re confident he can take care of your kids’ teeth.

We have been seeing DR Hussman for 16 years now ever since my oldest was born and now I have 4 kids. He is the nicest and I hope my kids will continue to see him until they grow out of Pediatric age. The staff has always been nice and helpful and they have a cute office!
