Ashley is a native Utahn, having grown up in Holladay, Utah. She attended Utah Valley University for her undergraduate education, where she earned degrees in Spanish, Biology and Chemistry. Prior to medical school, she traveled the world providing humanitarian assistance and even spent time living in Spain and Ethiopia.
She completed both her medical school and residency training at the University of Utah, where she worked hand in hand with the specialists at Primary Children’s Hospital. She is a board certified pediatrician who is affiliated with the AAP, UMA, and AMA.
Ashley loves all aspects of pediatric care including the newborn period all the way to adolescence. Her interests include anything and everything to do with sports and the outdoors (basketball, mountain biking, racquetball, hiking, yoga, etc), young adult fiction, traveling and cuisine. She is also fluent in Spanish and loves working with the Hispanic population in Utah.
