Terra Bowden, FNP

Every summer growing up, Terra spent a week with her grandfather, an orthopedic surgeon, volunteering at a Boy Scout camp as a “nurse.” She’d watch in fascination as he removed fishhooks, cleaned scrapes, and sutured wounds. That was the beginning of Terra’s interest with medicine, a passion which would lead her to a career in healthcare.

A Utah native, Terra earned an associate degree from Weber State University in 2005 before transitioning to Arizona State University for her Bachelor’s degree. Finally, Terra earned her FNP certification in 2018 from Chamberlain College of Nursing, having made her way back home to Utah.

In the office, Terra’s focus is on helping kids feel better and be healthier. She knows that kids are naturally full of light and joy, and says they remind her that the world is awe-inspiring and surprising. Even when things are tough, kids have an endurance most adults don’t. Working together with families through strong communication and teamwork, Terra’s goal is to make sure every kid’s light and joy has a chance to shine through.
