Very friendly staff & caregivers! We love going to Rod Maxwell and his assistant Steve! My kids & I appreciate the welcoming environment! We’re grateful that visits don’t take too long but we feel like are needs/questions are met!
Alyssa is passionate about helping new moms navigate the joys and challenges of breastfeeding. Born and raised in Davis County, Utah, she has lived in Utah her entire life. Alyssa enjoys spending her free time diving into a good book or hiking with her husband and their dog.
A mom of two teenage daughters, Alyssa understands firsthand the ups and downs of parenting through all the different stages. She thrives on helping parents and their newborns, especially newborns who are still trying to figure out what breastfeeding is all about. Alyssa finds it incredibly fulfilling when a baby latches successfully without any discomfort, and a mom’s face lights up with relief and gratitude.
Currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Nutrigenomics, Alyssa is passionate about how nutrition supports both parents and babies, fueling their health and well-being. She lives by the motto, “Live your life in such a way that if anyone were to speak ill of you, no one would believe it.” With her friendly demeanor, clinical expertise, and genuine care for her patients, Alyssa is an invaluable resource for new moms navigating their breastfeeding journey.
