And, if there’s an issue inside your baby’s mouth, you’ll also have access to pediatric dental experts right here in our office. If you’re experiencing frustration or feeding challenges with your baby, you can text or call us at 801.773.8644 to schedule an appointment with one of our in-house Lactations Consultants. The appointment can take place immediately after your baby’s well-check or at a later time that works for you.

Typically, yes, it does. You’ll have to verify your plan’s specific coverage with your insurance carrier.

During your visit, your Lactation Consultant will discuss any concerns you have and may examine your baby’s mouth and tongue. Depending on the situation, she might weigh your baby before and after feeding or observe their latch. You’ll always be in a private room, and we provide a cozy nursing chair for your comfort.

Our Lactation Specialists are International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). With their experience in pediatric nursing, they are dedicated to helping moms and babies build a confident breastfeeding partnership.

Yes, depending on availability. When you make your baby’s next appointment, ask the reception about a Lactation Consultation. If a Certified Lactation Consultant isn’t available at that time, our scheduling team can work with you to find a convenient time.
