My Baby's 2-5 Day Visit
Welcoming Your Newborn
In your baby’s first week of life, it’s time for their first official checkup in the pediatrician’s office. This visit allows us to monitor your baby’s growth, development, and overall health. We’ll check their weight, length, and head circumference, assess feeding and sleeping patterns, and screen for any early concerns.
Pediatric Visits
During the visits, your pediatrician will check your baby’s weight, head circumference, and overall health. They can also provide guidance on feeding, sleeping, and general newborn care. Your visit is also a great opportunity for you to ask questions about newborn care, feeding, and anything else on your mind.
Feeding & Nutrition
Whether you’re breastfeeding, formula feeding, or both, we’ll review feeding schedules, quantities, and offer guidance to ensure your baby is getting the right nutrition for healthy growth. It’s a great time to discuss any concerns or challenges you might be having with feeding times.
Sleep
Newborns sleep 16-18 hours a day, but in short bursts of 2-4 hours. Sleep for both the mom and the new baby is a common concern at this stage. We’ll discuss your baby’s sleep habits, address any challenges you are having, and offer tips to help you establish healthy sleep routines. Our goal is to help you both rest and recharge!
Mother’s Health
Your well-being is just as important as your new baby’s! As you navigate life with your new baby, we’re here to support you just as much as your baby. We’ll take some time to check in on your postpartum recovery, address any physical or emotional challenges, and provide helpful resources to support you during this transition.

I never knew I could fall in love so fast until I held my sweet boy. All I want to do is cuddle him all day, forget the world, and just soak in every little moment with him. His tiny hands, soft skin, and fuzzy hair—it’s pure magic.
