Emily Bankhead, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is a Family Nurse Practitioner and practices with a unique emphasis on the health and well-being of the whole person. Emily has a passion for pediatrics and loves working with our Wee Care families. She currently works at the Roy location.
Graduating Summa Cum Laude, Emily received her Bachelor of Nursing from Weber State University and has a diverse nursing background which includes psychology, medical, surgical, and maternal/newborn care. Wanting to further her education and extend her scope of practice, Emily received her Master of Science, Nurse Practitioner from Weber State in 2019.
With a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and health education, Emily guides patients in making smarter health and lifestyle choices. Emily believes in making every patient feel that the care she delivers is specifically tailored towards them and will always be their health care advocate. Emily’s clinical decisions are founded on evidence-based practice and in combination with her above beliefs allow for the best care possible.
Emily grew up in Clearfield, Utah and currently resides with her family in Syracuse. In her free time, Emily enjoys quilting, scrapbooking, and camping and kayaking in the mountains with her husband: Corey, kids: Emma and Quinton, and labradoodle: Remington.
Emily is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Utah Nurse Practitioners.
