Claudia Castelnovi

About Claudia:

Claudia Castelnovi was born and raised in Darfo Boario Terme, Brescia, a province of Northern Italy. She completed her medical training at Universita’ di Pavia in Italy. Early in her career, she relocated to California; first, as a researcher at the University of California San Diego and then as a Pediatrics resident physician at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine.

In the San Diego area since 2010, she practiced at La Maestra Health centers where she quickly grew a thriving practice in a highly diverse community. Motivated by her passion for medical science and knowledge, she continued cooperating in research projects and teaching medical students and pediatric residents.

Claudia is a nature enthusiast and outdoor athlete; she has greatly enjoyed spending time vacationing in Utah with her family. After several years living close to the beach, she has missed the mountains and found that Utah provides her the active mountain lifestyle she loves, like her Italian Alps. Claudia is fond of traveling and speaks fluent Italian, English, French and Spanish.

We love Dr Sigg! He is so knowledgeable, and so good with my kids! I really appreciate the time he takes, how carefully he listens and his excellent advice! Dr. Burton is also fantastic! The office staff is also wonderful. They’re always so nice and prepared to see us!
