Therapy for Kids & Teens in Kaysville

Child Therapy Is Healthcare

Childhood and adolescence come with big feelings and constant change — and kids aren’t born knowing how to manage stress, anxiety, or life’s curve-balls. Most children need a little help learning how to handle challenging emotions, and it’s not always easy for them to explain what’s wrong.

That’s where pediatric therapy comes in. Through one-on-one counseling and peer group sessions, our therapists help children and teens develop healthy coping strategies and emotional awareness. With the high demand for pediatric therapy, this service is offered exclusively to Wee Care Pediatric patients.

If you feel your child could benefit from therapy, contact our office to request a referral from your Wee Care primary care providers. Our therapists work hand-in-hand with your child’s medical team to ensure care is coordinated and whole-person focused.

Anxiety

One of the most common mental health concerns in children, anxiety can show up in many ways—from school struggles to social withdrawal. Our therapists help kids understand what they’re feeling and work toward practical, age-appropriate solutions.

Depression

When a child is struggling with depression, the whole family feels it. We collaborate with pediatric providers to create tailored care plans, which may include therapy, lifestyle strategies, and—when appropriate—medical support.

ADHD

Attention and focus issues can affect every part of a child’s life — school, home, friendships, and confidence. Therapy can offer kids new skills to stay on track, whether or not medication is part of their plan.

Parent Feedback

I have been taking my son to see Dr. Hoki since he was about 6 months old and we absolutely LOVE him!! He is an amazing doctor, and a very caring man. He cares about the kids he takes care of and i wouldn’t take my son to anyone else. He has guided us through some pretty tough times as my son has grown up and i can confidently say he truly cares about what he does and it’s not just a “job” for him. And WeeCare Pediatrics is just as amazing. We love all their doctors!! Their facility is clean, well ran, and their time management is great. And the women that work the front desk are so sweet and helpful. I would definitely recommend taking your babies here!!
