My Baby's First Hospital Visit

Physical Exam and Immunizations

Congratulations on Your New Arrival

Your pediatrician will be a trusted partner for years to come. From rashes to fevers and everything in between, we’re here to help you through this exciting (and sometimes exhausting) phase of parenthood. During their first week, your baby will have several check-ups including in the hospital.

Pediatric Visits

During the visits, your pediatrician will perform a thorough head-to-toe examination, checking your baby’s weight, feedings, and overall health. They can also provide guidance on feeding, sleeping, and general newborn care.

Feeding & Nutrition

Whether you’re breastfeeding, formula feeding, or both, we’ll review feeding schedules, quantities, and offer guidance to ensure your baby is getting the right nutrition for healthy growth. Our in-house lactation specialists are here to help you address any breast-feeding concerns you may have as well.

Sleep

Newborns sleep 16-18 hours a day, but in short burst of 2-4 hours. Sleep for both mom and the new baby are a common concern at this stage. We’ll discuss your baby’s sleep habits, address any challenges you are having, and offer tips to help you establish healthy sleep routines that support both you and your baby.

Mother’s Health

Your well-being is just as important as your new baby’s! As you navigate life with your new baby, we’re here to support you just as much. We’ll take some time to check in on your postpartum recovery, address any physical or emotional challenges, and provide you with helpful resources to support you during this time of transition.

We’re here to support both you and your baby during this exciting time of growth and discovery. Please contact our office any time you have a question or concern.

I can't believe how tiny and perfect my baby is. Every little sound, every movement, it's like I'm seeing a miracle unfold right in front of me. I never knew I could love someone so much, so quickly. She’s my whole world, and I still can't wrap my head around the fact that she grew in my tummy and is finally here."
